Our Services The Tangi Food Pantry's focus is to distribute a nutritional balance of food as well as implement nutritional education through the food that we distribute. We do this by distributing groceries once a month to applicants who qualify. See the poverty guideline table below to determine your qualification. Each individual or family who qualifies receives a variety of food items such as canned goods, tomato sauce, pasta, macaroni and cheese, cereal, grits, and other items when available. In the recent past we have been able to handout cookies, meat, soup, tuna, fruit and other nutritious items. Our Distribution Center: Town & Country Plaza, 2410 W. Thomas St, Hammond, La 70401. Our Days & Time of Operation: The site is open for food distribution on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. |
