Aims and Scope
The Journal of International and Global Economic Studies (JIGES) is an online journal sponsored by the Institute of International Economic Studies. The purpose of the journal is to enhance the study of economic issues such as open economy macroeconomics, international factor movements and business, exchange rate movements and determination, international trade theories, trade policy, FDI, international capital flows, external debt, regional trade agreements, foreign aid, international trade organizations, world economic programs, impacts of globalization, global capital markets, global economic integration and cooperation, global economic inequality, intellectual property rights, optimum currency areas, and other timely and concerned global or international issues. The refereed Journal emphasizes quality, clarity, presentation of economic models, test of hypotheses, and policy implications. This journal does not publish articles written by the internal faculty and staff. The average review time is approximately three months. The journal publishes two issues annually. It has been indexed in EconLit and Cabell’s Directory. ISSN 1940-655X
